Annual DJ comp!

2026 was the inaugural year of the Northeast DJ of the Year Comp. We had artists from all over NY, VT, MA and MD enter and compete.

2027 competition is being held solely at DJs Nite Club in Lake George, Friday, February 26 from 8 m - 12 am & Saturday, February 27 from 7 pm - 12 am. Competitors can be from any state. ALL winners announced each night, Friday night winners MUST attend Saturday as well for final competition.

Semi-finalists are given 2 weekend passes to the festival for their participation, and an image to use in their marketing. They will also receive items from our sponsors, to be determined.

Winners of the finals will be offered a spot at the 2027 festival and up to 4 day passes for their friends. Grand champion will be awarded paid spots at the 2027 festival!

To be considered a semi-finalist:

A) Fill out the form below , THEN

B) Submit the following to mark@allwedoisepic.com :

A 3 minute live video mix showing you actually mixing the music.

(the mix can be in a studio, your house, or at a club or event, but must show you mixing the entire time, we do not want to see crowds or venue)

3-EPK with photos / logos and bio.

*Contestants MAY enter up to 2 categories only.

We will provide the venue, PA, DJ/MC host and judges.

Contestants are required to provide their own controller/music. We will have you tie into the PA with standard XLR cords which we will provide.

There are 16 total slots over 2 nights. Competitors must be present the entire time and be ready to perform. Slots will not be announced in advance.

CRITERIA

Requirements For Semi-Finalists :

* ALL contestants will perform a 20 minute mix for semi-finals

*There is no restriction on tracks chosen. You can use radio edits, remixes, redrums, bootlegs, etc. You DO NOT have to use clean edits for competition.

* All contestants will be judged as follows, a maximum of 10 points each category below, for a grand total of 30 points:

A-33% MUSIC SELECTION - the songs you choose

B-33% STAGE PRESENTATION - facials, energy level, presentation-what you personally display

C-33% MIXING STYLES USED - beat mixing, slamming, vocal posting, word plays, tones plays, etc

CATEGORIES/SPECIFICS

1-HIP HOP/R-N-B:

2-REGGAE/REGGAETON/LATIN

3-COUNTRY/ROCK

4-HOUSE/TECHNO/EDM

-you must include 50% music in the genre(s) you select. I.E-if you chose only 1 category , 50% of your mix must be in that category. If you chose 2 categories, 50% must be in each category.

The 4 winners of each category will be tossed into a final round Saturday night, 20 minute open format mix, to be the overall grand champion!
